Dr. Kent Andersen joins me today as we talk about the practical application of using genomic testing on your cattle whether you’re running purebred or commercial cattle. Saturday Sep 17, 2022
Saturday Sep 17, 2022
It’s pretty easy to hit the "Repeat" button as we approach and go through our fall cow work… from Pre-Conditioning to Weaning to Preg Checking. Some may have to re-evaluate due to drought while other can do what’s been done traditionally. But the question is, "Is what you're doing leaving you at a net positive or a net negative financially when the dust settles?" Dr. Steve Paisley with the University of Wyoming is my guest as we talk about what you can do to make the most of your fall cow work.

Friday Aug 05, 2022
Friday Aug 05, 2022
The Bureau of Land Management recently issued a final decision for changing six grazing allotments in Montana from cattle to bison. Furthermore, what if this would have been a proposal put forth by ranchers like you or me? Jay Bodner, Executive Vice President for the Montana Stockgrowers Association and Kaitlynn Glover, Executive Director of the Public Lands Council for the NCBA are my guests as we discuss what took place and the potential implications of the decision in the future for ranchers across the country.
